Adarsh Kaur Khalsa
Sundays 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Amrit Khalsa has been practicing and teaching Kundalini Yoga for over 25 years. His classes are in-depth, fun and relatable. Having a PhD from MIT, and a very analytical mind, Amrit explains yogic concepts and philosophy - that can sometimes be a bit dry or airy - in a down to earth and practical way. He was lucky enough to study directly with Yogi Bhajan, and Amrit truly loves the technology of Kundalini Yoga as practical tools for healthy, happiness, inner peace, and a deeper spiritual connection.
Amrit doesn't just walk the talk, but also wants to see his students experience these Teachings personally. He loves watching students light up, lighten up, and grow up through their practice.
Amrit is one of the Lead Teacher Trainers at Yoga West, and the Program Director for the Level 1 Teacher Training course. He loves being involved with the teacher training program because every year he gets to witness the phenomenal and transformative power of Kundalini Yoga.
He is married to his wife of 16 years, Siridyal Kaur, a Kundalini Yoga teacher as well and a Sat Nam Rasayan healer. They hold monthly Kirtan gatherings at their house to which you are warmly invited! They also have two children and they enjoy watching movies together, take walks with their little dog and go out for long hikes.
We hope you can join Amrit for one of his classes, and he always invites and encourages his students to stay afterwards and ask questions.
