Our focus is on body alignment thru yoga postures, breathing, and strengthening the body, mind, and spirit to prepare for birth. Pregnancy Yoga promotes concentration, relaxation, and flexibility. All aspects of pregnancy are covered as we learn: Yoga postures specifically tailored for strengthening and relaxing your rapidly changing body. Yogic breathing techniques that will support you thru pregnancy and labor. Guided meditations and visualizations will give you a greater awareness of the many physical and spritual changes you will encounter during your pregnancy. Inspiring stories and antidotes about ancient ways of birthing and mothering that have been handed down thru the ages will help lift fears, doubts, and old conditioning.
Saturday, October 25 Children of all ages are welcome $17 or Class Pass Children ages 5 and up: $5 Save the Date for Upcoming Classes: Yoga West welcomes moms, dads, babies, siblings, and grandparents to this lively class, the last Saturday of every month. We will do Kundalini Yoga, play games, sing dance, laugh, breathe and relax together. Doing yoga together can help deepen the bond between parent and child, while also creating new friendships and a strong sense of community with the other families in the class. |
